With the holidays just around the corner, its time to get glam! What screams holiday parties like a red lip and smokey eyes.
The primer I used to start this look with is the Gosh Primer. This primer is great at smoothing and evening out the skin, it also gives the foundation you apply a velvet smooth touch. The foundation I used to get a full coverage, flawless look, is the Revlon ‘ColoursStay Whipped Foundation’. This foundation goes on so evenly and blurs any imperfections! I used both Hard Candy ‘Glam of Lauge’ and Garnier ‘Anti-Dark Circle Roller’ for under the eyes. The Glam of Lauge is great for highlighting the face as well, however the best way to apply it is with a damp beauty blender or damp cosmetic sponge.
This whole look is quite glam and full coverage. So I did create bold brows and the two products I used were, Marcelle eye brow pencil to fill them in and add more of an arch, then Maybelline Brow Drama to keep them in place. For the eyes I used the Quo ‘Smokey Eye Shadow Pallete’. The two shadows I used have an arrow in the picture above. The first shade I used was to highlight the brow bone and inner eye corner, as its a saten white shade. The last shade I used is a deep brown that I applied in the crease and outer corner. For the eye lid I used Gosh ‘Mineral Colour Pigments’ in ‘Tan’. The key to achieve any smoky eye look or even any eye look in fact, is to blend the colours out, and to add a little at a time and than blend. Blending the shades will make them look flawless as you won’t see any harsh lines where you applied a different shade. I than completed the eye look by adding some winged eye liner, the one I used is from Gosh. I didn’t want a really harsh winged eye so I blended the eye liner out with some black eye shadow, this creates a softer liner look.
For bronzer I used SHISEIDO in ‘Bronzed 2’ to contour my face and than I used the bronzer shade the L’Oreal ‘One Sweep 830’ to warm up the contour. I also used the blush in the L’Oreal blush and bronzer duo. This blush is a deep rose shade and is very pigmented, so you only need the slightest, its a nice blush to blend out and gives a beautiful colour.
Finally to achieve the red lips I used SHISEIDO IN ‘Perfect Rouge’, this lip colour is very moisturizing and has great colour pay off. The gloss I used to top it off, just in the centre of the lips is Guerlain lip gloss in ‘821’.
This is a fun look to pull off, at any upcoming hoilday parties and is something that would look great on many skin tones! End 2015 with a glam look!
Hope you enjoyed!!
