Purple eye makeup is one of those colours, that looks good no matter what eye colour you have! It also has been very trendy for 2015. I did a purple eye look that can be suitable for day time. This look can be glam and suitable for a night look if you added some eye liner and fake lashes.
The primer I used is from Nip+Fab, this primer helps even out and smooth your skin while giving a glow. For this look I wanted glowy skin that was going to last. The foundation I used was L’Oreal ‘Infallible 16hr’, this foundation also helps resist sighs of fatigue which is honestly just a bonus! Then to cover the dark circles under the eyes, cause lets be honest who ever gets enough sleep… So we have to hide those dark circles! To do that I love using Garnier ‘Anti-Dark Circle Roller’. I also used it to highlight my face, so down the bridge of the nose, on the forehead and chin. For bronzer I used one of my holy grails, NYC ‘Smooth Skin Bronzing powder’. As for blush I wanted a bronzed look so I used Revlon Blush in ’80 Sandalwood Beige’. This blush is great to achieve a bronzed look as its a neutral beige colour. It also has the slightest sheen to it giving your cheeks a glow!
For the eyes I used the GOSH ‘Cosmetics Eyeshadow Pallete’. The first shadow I used to highlight my brow bone and inner eye corner. I used the first purple shade for the crease as it worked well for a translational colour. I than applied the second deepest purple shade to the outer corner of the eye and also blended in through the crease. With this look there is a lot of blending involved. Blending will help make any eye look, look flawless as there will be no harsh lines if you blend! The third purple shade went onto the lid, I than went back to the other shades and added a little more. Its all about blending and adding a little colour at a time! For mascara I used STILA ‘Glamoureyes’, this mascara is great for length and is a deep black, making your lashes look very black, which is what we all want! I than used GOSH eye liner in black, to tight line my upper eye lashes and to line my top line, which I than smoked out, by blending it out. I used one of my favourite eye brow products with is Maybelline ‘Brow Drama’, this product is great for adding some colour as well as keeping you brows in place all day
For lips I kept it quite nude with both L’Oreal products. L’Oreal ‘Colour Riche’ in ‘181 Sheer Linen’ and L’Oreal’Colour Riche Lip Gloss’ in ‘ 120 Rich Pink’.
This look is quite simple, which is a great change for everyday makeup!
Hope you loveliest enjoyed!!
