This look is very fun and all about the eyes! In this makeup look I created a soft grey cut crease with a pop of blue! Blue is a complementary colour that will make any eye colour pop!
I started this look off, with using a primer that will make your skin feel like velvet! This is the Gosh ‘Velvet Primer’, it not only smooths out the skin put it also helps even out any discolouring. The foundation I choose to wear is the L’Oreal ‘Infallible 16hr Foundation’, this foundation is not only long wearing but its build able, blend able and is medium to full coverage. We all know the next step which is concealer, however once again I’m using my holy grail concealer, that I literally can’t live without, this concealer will cover an imperfections and is get to highlight the face as well! It the one and only Hard Candy ‘Glam of Lauge’ I use the shade very light. To set everything in place I used a pressed powder, which also gives added coverage, the powder I used is Maybelline ‘Dream Wonder Powder’, which will help ensure that your makeup lasts all day and stays in place!
Now onto the eyes, which are all the talk with creating a cut crease! To start off I used a creme shade to be the base colour that went all over the eye lid and up to the brow bone. The shade I used is a taupe colour form the NYX ‘Butt Naked Eyes’, palette, which I put in the eye crease, to both give definition and be a transitional colour, for the next steps. I than took the Maybelline ‘Colour Tattoo 24hr in Tough as Taupe’, just above my natural eye crease. Since I have hooded eyelids, meaning you can’t see your eye crease easily, I created a cut crease a bit above my natural crease line. All you have to do is look straight into a mirror and determine where your eye crease is and go slightly above that to create a cut crease, which I winged out slightly. (You can see above in the pictures). Once I created the crease cut, I than took more of the taupe shade from the palette that I used for the transitional colour to help blend out the cut crease line I created. This cut crease eye, is very blended, so remember to always take time to blend, blend, blend. As it will help create any eye makeup look flawless! I didn’t want to add any other shade to the eye lid, as I wanted it to look clean, from using that creme shade, in the very beginning of this eye look. Its don’t a cut crease look without adding wingedliner! The eye liner I used is the one and only Benefit ‘They’re Real Push Up Liner’, this liner is a gel formula and has a angled applicator, making it easy to achieve any wing line, whether that be a dramatic wing or a simple elegant wing! I than used Physician Formula ‘Custom Eye Enchancing Eyeliner’, to line my bottom lash line, this liner is perfect for blue eye as it compliments them well and gives an appearance of an awake eye! I didn’t want to add a black liner, which would create a harsh bottom lash line, which is the complete opposite from what the Physician Formula liner does. To finish the eyes off I than took a blue shade, from Maybelline ‘Eye Studio’, that I blended at the lower lash line, giving that pop of blue!
Lastly is the brows and lips! Of course I had to use my favourite brow product which is Maybelline ‘Brow Drama’, this brow gel doesn’t only add colour put it keeps those brows in place all day, so there no lose stranglers! For lips I have absolutely been loving the whole 90s nude/brown lips, so the colour I have been loving is Maybelline ‘Super Stay 14 hr Lipstick in 090 Endless Raisin’.
Hope you lovelies enjoyed this look, its definitely one of my favourites!!
