Birthday Makeup

We all want to look our best on our birthday, am I right?! This was my birthday makeup, I wanted to create a glowy fresh look, with a slight smokey eye! However, I mainly just wanted to play around with makeup and see what I create!  So this is the look I came up with!

 

 

I first started this look out with a primer, I have recently been loving Fusion Beauty ‘Brightening Primer’. This primer has a purple tint with a sheen, creating a brightening affect to the skin as well as giving your skin a health glow! I of course couldn’t, not use one of my favourite foundation combinations. I love to mix the CoverGirl 3IN1 with the L’Oreal Infalliable 16HR foundation, with mixing these two foundations, its gives a full coverage finish! We all know it wouldn’t be a completed makeup look, without using Hard Candy ‘GlamofLauge’, this is seriously my favourite concealer, that is full coverage and acts as a highlighter as well! To set the concealer in place, under the eyes, on the bridge of the nose, forehead and chin all the places we also want to highlight, I set it with Physician Formula ‘Brightening and Correcting Powder’.

Than its onto contour and blush! I wanted to use creme products, as I wanted to have a glowy finish to the skin. I used L’Oreal creme bronzer and L’Oreal ‘MagicSmooth Blush in Rose’. I applied both the creme contour and blush with the beauty blender, as it creates a flawless finish by blending everything out seamlessly! I than wanted to set the contour in place, as well as making it a little more defined with the SHISEIDO bronzer. To insure all the creme products would stay in place I set it with one of my favourite mists that can be used for multiple reasons. The one and only Avene spray.

Onto the eyes and the brows! I first filled in the brows, with a taupe brow powder and set them in place with my favourite, Maybelline Brow Drama! I’m so excited to be using my new Younique makeup products! So for the eyes I used Younique ‘MoodStruck Addiction 3 Shadow Palette’ I used the third shade called ‘Determined’, which is a matte taupe for the crease and transitional shade, than followed ‘Tickled’, that went in the outer corner to warm the eye up! My favourite shade in this palette, has to be the shade that I used on my lid which is ‘Ecstatic’, this is a gold saten/shimmer shade! To highlight both the inner corner and brow bone, I used L’Oreal Infallible loose pigment in ‘001 Time Resist White’. For liner I used two different liners, Younique MoodStruck Precision Eye Liner in Perfect to tighline, well I used a gel formula from Benefit ‘They’re Real Push Up Liner’ to do a slight little wing!

My favourite part of this look definitely has to be my lashes! Which is all from Younique 3D Fiber Lash! Its incredible how this mascara can make your lashes look like falsies!

To finish this look off I used Younique MoodStuck Lip Stick in ‘Upscale’, which is a perfect everyday lip colour or even great pairing with other colours to create an ombre lip!!
