Pink Lips for Valentines

Since Valentines Day is literally here in a few days, heres another makeup look that is perfect for the big LOVE day! This look is all about the pink lip and purple eyes!!

I think this makeup look would also be perfect, for spring and summer months as its fun with the bright pink lip!! I first started it off, with priming the skin using Benefit ‘POREfessional’, this way it creates a smooth base for the foundation and concealer. Primers help ensure, that your makeup will stay put all day and also help if you have oily skin. For foundation I used is, Younique Mineral Liquid Foundation in ‘Scarlet’, this foundation is light weight and very build able and blend able! I than couldn’t forget to use my concealer by Hard Candy ‘Glamoflauge’ to both conceal my under eyes and highlight my face! I love to apply both my foundation and concealer with a damp beauty blender, as it applys everything so flawlessly and creates a glowy affect, since it will soak up any excess concealer that would normally appear cakey! To set everything in place I used Physician Formula ‘Mineral Powder’.

As for contour and blush I used SHESIDUO bronzer in ‘2’, for both contouring and bronzing up the skin. As for blush I used NYX in Pinched, which is a rosy pink, but when applied lightly as its very pigmented, it gives a settle pink glow!

Onto the eyebrows I filled them in with a taupe shade called ‘Determined’ from the Younique MoodStruck Addition #3 Palette. To set them in place I of course used the Maybelline ‘Brow Drama’ I love this product as it gives your brows a bit of colour and sets them in place all day!

The eyes are my favourite, as its a purple smoky eye!! I used the Younique MoodStruck Addition #3 Palette to achieve this look! Firstly I applied an eye shadow primer to ensure, that the shadows wouldn’t crease. After I than applied the lightest purple shade ‘Flippant’ all over the lid and slightly into the crease. For a translation shade I went in with ‘Determined’, which is a taupe colour all through the crease, this way it wont create any harsh lines and help blend everything together. I than went in with the deepest purple shade ‘Cheeky’ and focused this shade on the outer third of the eye. To achieve a blended look with no harsh lines, I would go back in with the crease shade and blend it all out. A tip that I love to create a blended eye with deeper colours is to simply blend the colours, so I took ‘cheeky’ and blended in into ‘Flippant’ and so on. After I got the out look I wanted from blending, I than went in with a black eye liner and created a small wing. Which I smoked it out with the black shadow in ‘Irate’. Again the key to achieve any eye look, but especially a smoky eye is to blend, blend and blend! For the lower lash line I ran some of the black shadow ‘Irate’ and the taupe ‘Determined’ to blend it out! This way it helps balance out the eye, by applying shadow to the bottom lash line as well! As for the lashes I used my one and only 3D Fiber Lash Mascara, creating lashes like falsies without the struggle that false lashes can be!

The bold pink lip is all from CoverGirl Lipstick in ‘327 BombShell Explosion’! This was the first I have used a hot pink lipstick, but I think it works, with this look! I actually really like it and can see myself wearing it especially in the spring and summer months!!
