Hey lovelies!! Heres a blog post I meant to post a while back! Even though its almost spring this makeup look can still be about embracing a natural look with the pale skin from winter! This is a quick makeup look, embracing pale skin, keeping it neutral, so you can be out the door fast!
Winter is the worst seasons, for skin simply as it dries our skin out, our skin needs a break and needs to be restored with moisture. For this makeup look I decided to go very simple, and to embrace the pale skin.
To start this makeup look off, I first applied a primer. The primer I used is Gosh velvet primer, this primer gives you foundation a smooth base which in return gives your foundation a porless look! Who wouldn’t want that?! I than used a light coverage foundation, as I wanted this makeup look to be light and neutral. Overall, something that will last all day, but is quick to put on. So I chose Revlon ‘ColourStay Whipped’, as this foundation is very blend able and looks very natural! As for concealer I used Garnier “Anti- Dark Circle Roller’, this concealer is great at concealing those under eyes. I didn’t want to highlight the face in this look, as I wanted this makeup to look as natural and light as possible.
As for bronzer I went with Maybelline ‘Fit me Bronzer’ in ‘Light Bronze’. As I still wanted to add some shape to my face with out looking bronzed, while still enhancing the pale skin! This bronzer is great for fair skin tones as its very light and is a neutral bronze. By not being, warm and having orange undertones, which as someone with pale skin, I tend to struggle with finding a neutral bronzer. For blush I also used Maybelline ‘Fit Me Blush’ in ‘Deep Mauve’, this blush is exactly what the name is, a deep mauve matte blush, which I absolutely love when wearing a neutral look. It just keeps the cheeks natural yet adding the perfect amount of colour! Now for brows, I had to use my holy grail eye brow product which is the one and only Maybelline ‘Brow Drama’, this product is one of my all time favourite drug store makeup products. As it really fixes the brow game! By adding a little bit of colour and setting those brows in place all day!
The eyes are yet again very basic, I actually used some of the bronzer for the crease, this way it defines the crease by still looking natural. The eye shadow I added to the lid, is Maybelline ‘180 Silken Taupe’, which is a satin light taupe shade, this shade would look good on many skin tones especially on the centre of the lid! I also used one of my favourite mascaras which is the Stila ‘ Glamoureyes’, this mascara is great at giving volume and length while looking very black! Onto the lips I used Maybelline ‘Colour Whisper’ in ’25 Lush of Blush’, which is a nude pink!
Again this look is very neutral and is a quick makeup look, perfect for those winter mornings when you don’t want to get ready!
Hope you lovelies enjoyed!!
