It was International Fragrance day of Monday, but wanted to also share this post!
I can simply say I have a a problem with collecting perfume! I just adore perfume, I love how a certain fragrance can evoke a certain memory, I love how a certain perfume can change your mood. I have always been drawn to fragrance, plus who doesn’t love the amazing packaging and bottles. Marc Jacobs has his designs on point! One of my favourite types of videos to watch on YouTube are ‘Perfume Collections’!
Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs (the first on with pink and white flowers) is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Daisy Eau So Fresh was launched in 2011. Top notes are grapefruit, green notes, raspberry and pear; middle notes are jasmine, rose, violet, litchi and apple blossom; base notes are musk, virginia cedar and plum. This perfume is beautiful and stunning. It is one of my favorites. It is so feminine, fresh, floral, soft and a little sweet. A near perfect balance of all my favourite qualities.
Marc Jacobs presents new limited flankers of the fragrances Daisy (2007) and Daisy Eau So Fresh (2011) as Sorbet Editions. Sorbet Editions are promising colorful, delicate and fresh scents.Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet is also created by Richard Herpin. The top notes are mandarin, apple blossom and lotus. The heart is composed of magnolia, jasmine and violet. Delicate and creamy woods and musk form the base of the perfume.Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet was launched in 2015. Definitely fresh! Love it though, I catch the fruity notes afterwards, with a bit of that mandarin and jasmine great fragrance expect nothing less from Marc Jacobs.
Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight is another creation by Frank Vöelkl and it reinterprets the original Daisy Eau So Fresh from 2011. The perfume starts with pink pepper and white tea, while the heart offers opulent aromas of blood orange, Tiare Tahiti flower, violet, raspberry and apricot. The romantic fragrance provides a soft trail of musk and amber. The color characteristic of this new limited edition is pale pink. This is quite light and easy-going. Sweet, but not too much. Smells almost like fresh air. Reminds me more of spring than summer, but it’s great for summer because of it’s inoffensive lightness. At first it is kind of musky, and then becomes sweet once it’s settled.
Daisy Marc Jacobs is a sparkly floral-woody fragrance, fresh and feminine at the same time. It is devoted to a sophisticated, seductive, and dazzling woman, which at the same time strives to simplicity. It is captured in a lovely bottle decorated with daisy flowers on the top. Creator of this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Charming Daisy fragrance caresses with the fruity strawberry notes, intensive green aroma of violet leaf and sparkling spicy pink grapefruit. Its composed of white woods, vanilla and musk.Oh Daisy… So young, inoffensive and bubbly. This is a scent that isn’t too loud, it’s there and you catch light whiffs of it as the day goes by. Suits most of the young women I think. I’ve never gotten the vanilla or the musk on my skin, it’s plain floral to me.
Marc Jacobs launches Daisy Dream in summer of 2014 as a new variation of the original Daisy fragrance from 2007. Daisy Dream is a more sophisticated and ethereal version of the original. The composition tends to create a “blue effect”, made from unusual floral and fruity aromas. There are accords of blackberries, pear, blue wisteria, jasmine and coconut water. The scent, like the original, is created by perfumer Alberto Morillas, in collaboration with Ann Gottlieb and designer Marc Jacobs himself.Daisy dream is lovely fruity and airy. Its sweet and fruity musk. Most of Marc Jacobs line is inspired by the original daisy. Everything else is a spin off of daisy. Anyway, it’s light and fresh. Something you can wear everyday. Somewhere in there I’m reminded of Dot, maybe it’s the mild coconut, anyway like it . I’m loyal to the Marc Jacobs brand. Can we just take a minute and admire the bottles!
Marc Jacobs brand expands their collection of fragrant products with a wonderful fragrant duo. The two new perfumes are both limited-edition editions and refer to two new versions of Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh – Delight. They will be launched in 2014 in collaboration with Coty.Daisy Delight is a more vibrant version of the original Daisy fragrance from 2007. This edition has been created by perfumer Frank Vöelkl of Firmenich. Top notes of the new fragrance incorporate juicy scents of apple, quince flower and freesia. The fragrant story continues with central notes of iris, gardenia and peony. The composition closes with musk, cedar and sandalwood. The perfume is poured in characteristic Daisy flacon, topped with colorful flowers, but fragrant fluid is colored in pale green this time.Daisy Delight is a apple scent with a hint of gardenia that’s light- airy and will easily go from day to night.
Marc Jacobs Dot. The new fragrance continues the cheerful game of petals decorated by modern and characteristic flacons of the Jacobs collection. Polka dots embellish red petals and a ball on the cap, which looks like ladybug in the heart of a flower. The fragrance was introduced in March 2012.The composition has been announced as floral-fruity, surrounded with exotic notes of coconut and wrapped in soft vanilla embrace.Top notes of the new fragrance DOT incorporate red berries combined with pitaya fruit, known also as dragon fruit. The juicy and exciting opening is followed by a floral trio composed of honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom, while a base closes with a trail of coconut water, vanilla, driftwood and sensual musk. The flacon is made of red glass and decorated with flowers and golden plate with inscribed name of the fragrance and of the brand Dot was created by Annie Buzantian and Ann Gottlieb.
Honey by Marc Jacobs is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Honey was launched in 2013. Honey was created by Annie Buzantian and Ann Gottlieb. Top notes are pear, mandarin orange and punch; middle notes are honeysuckle, orange blossom and peach; base notes are honey, vanilla and woodsy notes.
Marc Jacobs has 58 perfumes. The earliest edition was created in 2001 and the newest is from 2015. Most of his fragrances i like, however his packaging and bottles are always on point! Thats just the few fragrances i own of his and the one I most enjoy!
