Spring Makeup Look

Its finally Spring! However that doesn’t always mean spring weather is officially here yet:( But why not bring out the bright colours and of course a pink lip!  I love this makeup look as it is fresh with simple eyes, a bold lip and brows, but lets not forget about the contour!!

There really isn’t any change here, the first thing I start off with is a primer. The primer used is Nip+Fab ‘Skin Correcting Primer’, this primer is great as it evens at your skin tone and correct any hyper-pigmentation or discolouring on the skin, well overall giving the skin a smooth even base for foundation. The foundation I used is CoverGirl 3 in 1, this foundation is medium to full coverage, build able and of course easy to blend! The concealer I used is my holy grail which is the Hard Candy ‘GlamofLauge’, which I also use to brighten up the face and to also highlight. Placing it in a triangle under the eyes, on the bridge of the nose, forehead, chine and even under the cheek bones, this way after when I contour, it will even make the cheek bones look more chiseled out! To set everything in place, I used Physicians Formula ‘Mineral Wear Loose Powder’, which will also I add a bit of coverage.IMG_7677

As for contour and blush! I wanted to keep it looking dewy rather than a matte look. That sometimes happens with powdered bronzers and blushes! However, with creme products I still like to set them lightly with a bronzer and blush, to make sure it lasts all day!

For bronzer, I used L’oreal creme bronzer which I applied with a damp beauty blender and set it with a matte bronzer from SHESIDUO, in Medium 2, this bronzer is great as a contour since its not to warm with the undertones on fair skin. I love this bronzer to contour and bronze up the skin, as in the cheek bones, temple, forehead, jaw line and nose. Next for blush I actually mixed two the first one is L’oreal ‘MagicSmooth Souffle Blush in Rose’ and toped it off with Milani, ‘Luminoso Baked Blush in 05’, which is a glowy peach shade.

Onto the eyebrows I filled them in with a taupe shade called ‘Determined’ from the Younique MoodStruck Addition #3 Palette. To set them in place I of course used the Maybelline ‘Brow Drama’ I love this product as it gives your brows a bit of colour and sets them in place all day!

IMG_7686For the eyes I first primed them with Urban Decay’ Eyeshadow Primer Potion’ to make sure the shadows don’t crease and last all day! The eyes are my second favourite, part of this spring makeup! I used the Younique MoodStruck Addition #3 Palette to achieve this look! After applied the lightest purple shade ‘Flippant’ all over the lid and slightly into the crease. For a translation shade I went in with ‘Determined’, which is a taupe colour and ‘Tickled’  all through the crease. To highlight the brow bone, inner corner and centre of the eye lid I used ‘Smitten’, which is the perfect highlight shade! I than went in with a black eye liner by Maybelline and created a small wing. Which I smoked it out, ever so slightly with the black shadow in ‘Irate’. As for the lashes I used my one and only 3D Fibre Lash Mascara, creating lashes like falsies without the struggle that false lashes can be!

The bold pink lip is all from CoverGirl Lipstick in ‘327 BombShell Explosion’! Which I absolutely love and toped it off with some NYX lips gloss in ‘Eclair’ on the centre of the lip! I actually really like it and can see myself wearing it quite a bit this spring and summer!!

Hope you lovelies enjoyed this Spring Makeup Look that i know i will be wearing a lot this Spring!! Much love xx
