Coachella Inspired Makeup Look

Its Coachella time!! I am always so jealous of everyone that gets to go! Hopefully one year I will be able to attend!! Its all about having fun! But lets not forget about the ever so amazing makeup looks and fashion Coachella brings!

This look brings on the fun!

To start off we can’t forget to prime, especially because we want the foundation and concealer to stay put all day! I first applied Fusion Beauty ‘Prime Results Brightening Primer’, this primer is great at correcting any darkness as it is purple base, with a sheen that helps brighten  up the skin and helps give your foundation a healthy glow! For foundation, I actually mixed two, this way I got the coverage and finish I wanted. I used CoverGirl TruBlend, which is full coverage and blend-able, which I added a bit of L’Oreal Infallible 16 Hour Foundation, as this foundation is long wearing as well, however it is more yellow toned than the CoverGirl so it helped balance out the correct tone I needed..Pale people problems!!! Of course it wouldn’t be a makeup look, if I didn’t use my holy grail concealer which is the one and only Hard Candy ‘GlamofLauge’.  This concealer is very full coverage and is best applied with a damp beauty blender! Which, I love to apply all foundation and concealer with! To set every thing in place I use Maybelline ‘Dream Matte Powder’.

Onto the eyes, which is star of the show!  First thing first, is to prime those eyes, this will insure the shadows don’t crease and appear more vibrant! My favourite eye shadow primer has to be Urban Decay ‘Eye Shadow Primer Potion’, as it also helps even out the colour and veins on your eyelids. Now its time, to get the eyes looking glam! I used two eye shadow Duos, which are both from L’Oreal. The first one I used is, L’Oreal ‘H.I.P High Intense Pigments, Bright Shadows in Showy 224’. I first took the deepest blue and focused that on the outer half of the eye lid and into the crease. I than applied the beautiful turquoise shade on the inner half of the eye lid. This took some time to blend into the deep blue to create a blended ombre. The best thing to remember, when doing any eye look is to add a bit at a time, you can always go back! Also blend, blend, and blend.. it will become your best friend! Once I had the shadows all blended and to my liking I than added a warm brown to the crease and slightly above, this way it adds some warmth and dimension. I used the brown shade from the L’Oreal ‘H.I.P. Duo in Dashing 917′. We can’t forget to highlight!! To highlight both the inner corner and brow bone, I used another L’Oreal pigment in 001 Time Resist White’.

Now its all about the wing! The eyeliner I used is Benefit ‘They’re Real Push Up Liner’ to create the fierce wing, also bringing it into my inner corner and flicking it out, this way it looks like a cat eye.. I absolutely love this liner as it has a angled tip, which makes it so easy to get the perfect wing! I than used two Maybelline ‘Master Drama Eye Liners’, the Sliver one in ‘Made of Steel’ and the blue one in ‘Sapphire Strength’. I used the sliver to add a wing under the black liner and to also draw on sliver dots, as I couldn’t find any gems to use! The blue eyeliner went on my bottom lash line and water line, that I than smoked out! To finish off the eyes, I used L’Oreal Mascara as well as Ardell Demi Wispies.

This look is very glam and boho-chic. I added a few small gems in my inner, also on my forehead. I wish I had some more gems that I could have applied with some lash glue.

To get a bold brow, I used a brown shadow from my NYX Palette as well as my holy grail brow product which is the Maybelline Brow Drama in ‘Deep Brown’.

For lips I used L’Oreal Infallible  lip stain in ‘191 Stubbron Plum’.

To finish off the face, I used one of my bronzers that actually work well with my fair skin tone. Which is the Maybelline ‘Fit Me Bronzer in Deep Bronze’, that I love to use, for both contour and bronzer. For blush I actually mixed two the first one is a matte nude by Maybelline Fit Me in ‘Deep Nude’ I love this blush as it helps warm up my skin tone. I paired it with Milani Backed Powder Blush in ’05 Luminoso’ which is a peachy glowy blush. For highlighter I used a highlight in one of my favourite NYX Palettes and toped it off with some of the highlight, I used for my brow bone by L’Oreal. This shadow is very pigmented and works amazing as a intense highlight, which is want Coachella also brings! Bring on the highlight!! To set everything in place I used the Avene Spring Water! This is also great to refresh your face on those hot days or even on a sun burn.

I hope you Lovelies enjoyed this fun Coachella Inspired Makeup Look!!

    1. Aww thank you so much gorgeous! Yes I use to be scared with bold colours and still am! But the biggest thing I have learned is to add a bit at a time! Its much easier to add, than making it look bad lol! Also blending is the thing I do the most, even with neutral shades! Hope that helps some! I’m so excited that you’re going to be trying to add some colour! Its honestly such a fun look! ❤ xx
