Favourite Hair Oils

I think its alright to say, that I have a obsession over hair oils and have totally been loving hair oils over the last two years! Since than I have tried out a few different brands of hair oils and these are just a few that I absolutely love and work well with my hair type!

Well lets first start off with the Dove ‘Pure Care Dry Oil‘! This was actually one of the first oils i tried out years ago and got hooked onto the hair oil trend! This oil is great to toss on your ends right after the shower as it helps seal in moisture, well also drying your ends! This oil is a little different than the others as it helps dry your hair.  I absolutely love how this oil smells and makes my hair feel and look after i use it! As this oil is a nourishing treatment with African Macadamia oil!

The next oil is similar as its also a nourishing treatment oil which is by NEXXUS ‘Oil Infinite’. This oil is very fine and works best on damp hair. Again I always focus oils like these only on my ends as I don’t want it to get near my roots as then your hair can begin to look oily, since these oils are moisturizing and are oil based.

Lets now shine some light on the amazing brand that i have been loving which is Fekkai! The first hair oil ‘PrX Reparative’ is hands down one of the best hair oils! It makes your hair feel soft and smooth, I have used it on dry and wet hair – if used on wet hair it helps with frizz! Also smells very nice, something along the lines of warm clean vanilla.As its infused with Argan Extract and scented with vanilla. It smells amazing…I can’t even begin to describe it, it’s incredibly beautiful, but that isn’t all, because this stuff actually does what it says! It mends hair together to shiny smoothness and provides strength! Plus i love how simple the packaging and bottle is!

The next Fekkai product is the ‘Blowout Sealing Serum’ this oil is perfect for hard to manage hair as it keeps your hair look smooth and sleek between stylings! This touch up serum is scented by fruit and ocean notes which makes it smell devine!  This is a perfect for summer and the humid months as it helps resist humidity to help tame and eliminate frizz! It can be used for both before and after you style your hair! Its definitely going to be my goto oil for the summer!!

Now I LOVE hair oils and use them after the shower and even after I style my hair, to give shiny and to also tam the frizz! This hair oil is lightweight which is perfect for mixing into a shampoo or even conditioner, as it simply won’t weight your hair down! This Kenra Professional ‘Revive Oil’ is perfect for even if you have fine thin hair, as I know many girls who don’t like to use oils, as they are afraid it will weight down their hair, making it even more flat! Even though, this oil is a oil base, it truly doesn’t leave your hair feeling greasy at all. Which is one thing I don’t like with many oils, since my hair does tend to get oily! I’ve been using this oil before, I use heat on my hair, or even after its been styled! This oil is also great for adding a bit of shine on second or even third day hair, helping to tamp any frizz and blend the split ends to prevent breakage!

This next oil was actually my very first oil I ever used and became obsessed, I don’t even know how many bottles of this stuff i have went through! BIOSILK ‘Silk Therapy’  this oil is perfect for just taming frizz or just wanting to add a bit of a shine, which is what I use it for! Plus it smells absolutely amazing! Its definitely a must have!

Lastly is the HASK ‘Coconut Oil’  I absolutely love this little bottle of amazingness! This oil has drastically helped my dry hair from the cold winter, heat damage as well as the damage from the ombre. I put a small coin sized amount on my hand, rub it into my palms then run it through my bottom half damp hair, confusing in on the ends. As I don’t want the oil near my roots, as we don’t want to have greasy hair! I comb thru my hair and let it dry naturally. My hair is so soft, silky and manageable afterwards! It has a nice smell and I don’t even bother washing it off my hands after because it leaves my hands feeling amazing.
