NYX Haul

I was finally able to get my hands on some more NYX products, as NYX is finally sold in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart! However, I was sad to see they didn’t have the Lingerie Lip Sticks. With that being said I was still able to get a few awesome products!

Lets start off with one the my favourite products that I finally have, which is the one and only NYX Highlight and Contour Pro Palette! I was honestly so excited to finally be able to test it out as well as having it in my makeup collection! I will be doing a review on the palette so be on the look out to see that 😉

The next face product, that I picked up was the Dewy Setting Spray, mainly because I wanted another setting spray and this one looks promising. Even though its Spring now and soon to be Summer, I absolutely love to have dewy healthy looking skin, rather than a matte finish!

I than seen the Micro Brow Pencil and wanted to give it a go as I’ve read that it’s a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Brow Wiz’. I’m wearing it today for the first time and can say I absolutely love the way it creates a bold brow but, you can definitely make it look natural as well! I got it in ‘chocolate brown’, as my eyebrows are much darker than my natural hair colour and I personally like to have a bolder brow!

Now onto the lip products, which I was very excited to try out! I got one Matte Lipstick in ‘Nude Diaphane’.This was the lightest nude shade they had in stock so I though I would give it a go, since I’m loving the light nude trend! I got another of my favourite Butter Gloss which is in ‘Eclair’, this is the perfect pinky natural everyday lip gloss! It’s definitely a holy grail, for myself!

The next few lip products, that I got I am so excited to test out and do some new makeup looks with! Lets start with the two Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks the first one is a bold fun colour for spring and summer which is a Purple Lip! This purple shade is more cool blue toned, so the down side is it doesn’t make your teeth how extra white! But I love these cool tone purples on my fair skin tone! This shade is in ’06 Slay’ what a perfect name for this colour! The other one is much more wearable and is a nude/pink in ’09 Tea and Cookies’.

The last two lip products I got are both Soft Matte Lip Cream, one in ’03 Tokyo’ which is a very light pink but on my skin tone it’s almost a cool toned slightly neon pink. The other one is a pinky red in ’08 San Paulo’.

I can’t wait to try out all these products and create some makeup looks with them! Hope you lovelies enjoyed and let me know what are your favourite NYX products!

  3. NYX is amazing, I’ve tried so many of their products. Does the dewy finish make you look like you have oily skin? I fear this and usually stuck to matte.

    Don’t beat yourself up about the Lingerie glosses. I bought 8 of the shades because of the hype and walked away really only liking maybe 2. They do last for a long time, but the colors are not as amazing as people make them out to be.

      3. So far I’m absolutely loving it!! It just gives your skin a slight dewy glow! Doesn’t look oily at all! However I don’t know if it would suit people with oily skin… But since I have combo skin, it is working well! I love it! Definitely worth a go!! Have a wonderful day!! xx

    1. I have to say the contour and highlight palette! However I’ve only used it twice, since I just got it, but it definitely has to be my favourite so far! I also am loving the Suede Lipsticks!! ❤ xx Whats your favourite NYX Product?!
