Kylie Jenner Smoky Eye Inspired Makeup

I’ve seen a few pictures of Kylie Jenner going around on Instagram with a soft smoky eye and pinky nude lips! I wish I had some of her Lip Kits to use on this Makeup Look but this is an inspired look, using the makeup I have! I absolutely love this look as its soft and definitely perfect for Spring!

Well first things first, is to prime the skin! I love the results that you get when priming your skin, as it gives the foundation a base to hold onto, well evening out your skin tone and filling in any pores. This way priming gives your foundation an even base. The primer I’m using is a new one of mine, which is the Maybelline ‘Master Prime Primer’, this primer blurs and cancels out redness. Next thing is Foundation! We all know that the Kardasians have flawless full coverage looking skin! This foundation is definitely a must have, as the finish it gives your skin is absolutely amazing. It isΒ medium to full coverage and is very build able and blends out effortlessly. It will cover any redness and imperfections, however I will say you definitely need to make sure to moisturizeΒ and prime before, as this foundation dry to a powder finish. Β Again there’s no change here with the concealer, this is my favourite and go to holy grail concealer, it’s the one and only Hard Candy ‘GlamofLauge’. I than used a little bit of Maybelline ‘Dream Wonder Powder’, to gently set the foundation and concealer in place. To get that healthy dewy finish to the skin, I used NYX Dewy Finish setting spray.

Next is all about the contoured skin! To achieve the perfect contoured look, are used to NYX ‘Highlight and Contour Pro Palette’. This palette is great, as it has various different shades, for multiple different skin tones. Are used the ‘Banana’ shade to set the concealer under my eyes, as well as to brighten up the under eyes! I than used the first bronzing shade, to bronze of my face. This shade is perfect, as it’s not to warm for all my fair skin toned lovelies, as it doesn’t look muddy. I went in with the third shade which is more of a taupe shade, and focused it on contouring, to try to get the Kardashian looking cheek bones, as it is a perfect shade to create shadows. As for blush I went in with a NYX Blush in ’25 Pinched’, this blush the perfect bright pink. Kylie loves her highlighter, so I used the first highlight shade in the NYX Palette, and focused that on my cheek bones, tip of the nose and centre of the lip! Making that highlight be on fleek! It also works very well with my skin tone and gives that glow!

Now it’s onto the soft smoky eye! From pictures I’ve seen she was wearing a warm brown smokey eye. So the palette I decided to use for this look is the L’OREAL ‘LA PALETTE NUDE 2’, as it has a few brown shades that will look similar to what she had on. First thing first is to prime those eyes, this will ensure that the shadows last all day and don’t crease! Which is exactly what we all want! I used the trusty Urban Decay ‘Eyeshadow Primer Potion’, which also helps even out darkness on eye lids. Now onto the fun part! I first used the third shade in this palette for all over the lid, this shade is a cool tone taupe colour. I than took the fourth shade which is a warmer brown tone and started to blend that into the crease. To make the eye makeup more warm toned I than took the sixth shade, which is a warm toned brown with some reddish undertones and focused that on the outer corner and blended that into the crease. We can’t forget to highlight the brow bone and inner corner so to do that I used the first shade which is a highlight shade with a pinky tint to it!

For lashes I wanted to get full lashes like what you would with false lashes, expect without the struggle some false lashes give! So the mascara I used is the one and only Younique 3D Fibre Lash, this mascara will give you all the length and volume! Its my go to, especially when I want glam lashes!

Kylie always rocks a bold brow, which I absolutely love and always tend to do as well. So for brows I used two of my favourite brow products which are the NYX ‘Micro Brow Pencil in Chocolate’, this brow pencil will give you defined brows that will be one point. To set them in place I used my one and only Maybelline ‘Brow Drama’! This product is also one of my holy grails!

In this look she was wearing a light nude matte lipstick and I found a perfect one that suits this look as well as my skin tone. It’s another NYX product by the Matte Lipstick line in ’01 Nude Diaphane’. Hope you lovelies enjoyed this Kylie Jenner Inspired Makeup Look!!

  1. Love this look! You did an amazing job, hun! I actually read a post about the similarity to Colourpop and the Kylie Lip Kits… apparently they are made in the same factory and there’s minor differences in the ingredients. So if you want a more budget friendly option for the lip kits that’s a good way to go!
