Hey lovelies, hope you’re all doing well! Well its almost approaching a year since the world went crazy on all of us. So since its been almost a year I decided to share what I have been doing to make life in lockdown a bit more manageable.
SET A ROUTINE
One of the best things that you can do is simply set a routine. Theres been many days that I haven’t set a proper routine and all I can say is setting a routine makes your day feel so much more productive and thats what I’m aiming for these days after a long lockdown.
WORKOUT
Missing the gym? Working out at home can be just as beneficial for both your mind and body. Why not try out different types of workouts over the course of the next few weeks and find that workout that really works for you

LEARN TO COOK NEW MEALS
Since going to restaurants hasn’t been a thing for many months now, cooking at home has been the new thing for many people. Its always nice to cook some healthy and filling meals. One thing I have been doing is looking on Pinterest to get ideas of quick and healthy meals to cook. Also a game charger has been using an air fryer, I’ve had my air fryer since the beginning of this whole lockdown and all i can say is i love using an air fryer, its so easy and convenient.
LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE
Since many entertainment activities arent allowed these days, something I’ve been trying to put some time into each week is learning a new language. It definitely isnt easy and takes some time but it is interesting to start learning a new language.
LEARN TO DIGITALLY DRAW
Over the last few weeks, I started to pick up on digital drawing with procreate and my ipad. It’s such a fun and create way to let my mind be creative and as many of you know I love creating so this has been one of my favourite activities to do recently.

GET OUTSIDE FOR WALKS
As its the middle of winter and almost a full year of quarantine, spending most of our time inside, which is very isolating its nice to go outside for walks. Of course remembering to stay your distance and wearing a mask, but fresh air is always good for the mind and soul.

START A BLOG OR CREATIVE OUTLET
You can never go wrong with writing a blog. Whether you’re using it as an online writing portfolio, a space to share your passions or as an opportunity to try something new, it’s time to get those creative juices flowing.

CLEAN AND ORGANIZE YOUR SPACE
Clean out and organize your kitchen cupboards. Check the expiration dates on those canned goods at the back, clear out that junk drawer you’ve been avoiding or go the whole hog and colour coordinate your spice rack! Stacey loves labelling her kitchen drawers – get your hands on some personalised labels or make them yourself using a label maker. You know what they say – tidy kitchen, tidy mind.
ORGANIZE YOUR CLOSET
Most of us have at least one dress that we know we’ll never wear again or a pair of jeans that just don’t fit the way they used to. It’s time to declutter your wardrobe and get rid of those sad pieces that no longer see the light of day. Either pass them onto friends and family, donate them to charity or at the very least, find your nearest clothing bank and recycle
GIVE YOURSELF A MANI
There’s nothing better than typing on a keyboard or tapping on your phone with freshly manicured nails – you just can’t beat it. Why not learn how to give yourself an at-home manicure? You’ll be able to create a range of show-stopping looks using glitter, stickers, and gems.

I hope you guys enjoyed some of these ideas, while we all try to get through this difficult time. Remember we are all in this together and lets all focus on doing what we can to protect eachother.
