Welcome Maya to the Family!

Just a few weeks ago, we added the cutest member to the family! Little Maya is a golden retriever and is already so spoiled! It’s been years since I’ve been wanting my own puppy and I officially got a puppy with the love of my life.

As we all know 2020 proved to be a difficult year and with many ups and downs. Throughout the year I learned a lot and am so unbelievably grateful to have had my boyfriend by my side. Since this year is still proving to be difficult with constant lockdowns and having no social life, it was proven to be the most perfect time to add to our family! We are so in love with our little Maya and can’t even remember what life was like without her!

Over the last few weeks, we have been during lots of puppy training and I’m proud to say it’s been going so unbelievably well! Maya is such a smart puppy and has been officially potty trained by the age of 10 weeks. Since we live in a condo, it’s sometimes difficult to do potty training outside especially when she’s so young and still can’t socialize with other dogs until she’s fully vaccinated. Anyways with that being said, the outdoor grass pee pads have been a life changer, she goes out on the balcony and loves it! Also don’t worry, the balcony is all puppy proof! All the gaps we have closed with outdoor plastic guards that is specially designed for child and pet proofing railings. So the balcony is a total safe place for Maya to be and enjoy some fresh air until she’s all vaccinated and can go on walks.

Since having Maya, I have learned to gain more patience and understand the lack of sleep. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I’m so happy that we have gained such a cute like girl into our family, although I must add, sometimes she can be a little demon. But she’s my little girl!
