Although over the last past year life hasn’t been the same, I have truly gained a deeper love for makeup and being creative! Since life has been revolved around the same walls the past year, getting all ready in the mornings and for nights out is not the reality. When Armani Beauty reached out to me to do a review on the new Lip Power Lip sticks I was beauty excited as it was one step closer to creating makeup looks again! I haven’t been purchasing much makeup these days so any opportunity to get to play with new makeup I’m all for! Anyways, lets get talking about the new lipsticks!
First off lets talk about the packaging its super chic and goes with the brand image, which I wouldn’t expect anything else. The packaging feels as well as looks luxurious. I honestly love the packaging and would love to display the lipsticks on my makeup vanity!
Giorgio Armani Lip Power are a combination of comfort and long-lasting result all in one lipstick. Formulated with a unique combination of oils and highly concentrated pigments, this light, long-wear lipstick brings vivid colour in its truest form that stays comfortable all day long.
The lipstick’s are full on pigment. They glade on the lips so effortlessly and are creamy, lightweight and doesn’t have a strong scent. I especially like wearing the lipstick after I blend the shade out, this way it gives a lip stain effect. One swipe is all you need! The formula is extremely smooth and creamy without being sticky. I also noticed this lipstick is long lasting as long as you don’t eat oily foods of course, but I also noticed this lipstick doesn’t bleed out of my lip line, which I find happens with many lipsticks. I am someone who tends to gravitate towards lip stains or liquid lipsticks as I hate when lipsticks bleed or transfer easily. However, I will definitely be adding the Lip Power lipstick in shade ” 502 Lip Power” to my everyday makeup bag!
Overall, I’m very happy with these Lip Power lipsticks and will definitely be reaching for them on days I do my makeup these days being stuck at home!
