About Taylor

Taylor Collins is a driven and passionate certified Toronto-based freelance makeup artist and fashion consultant. Graduating from Fashion Marketing at The Toronto Film School. Right after graduating for the Fashion program, she decided to throw herself back into school and study Makeup Artistry. To broaden her experience and makeup techniques, as she had been doing freelance makeup for clients and photoshoots in the past. Upon graduation, Taylor began her career as a full-time freelance makeup artist.

Taylor launched onto the fashion scene more than five years ago, by growing within the industry, building media relationships and connecting with national beauty and lifestyle brands. Taylor is extremely passionate about beauty and fashion, which has grown her experience as a personal artist for her diverse ever-growing clientele. Being creative is what Taylor is most passionate about however, building relationships with her clients is something she likes to focus on, by helping bring the client’s vision to life.

Taylor is committed to making her clients experience in her chair, unique and catered to the specific needs and wants of the client. Taylor has a developed eye for colour, symmetry and beauty trends. She knows how to enhance everyone’s best features and all skin tones, so we are all able to put your best face forward!

Being a full-time freelance makeup artist and having the talent and knowledge to share with the beauty community. Taylor began expanding her passions to online platforms, starting her blog and YouTube channel in 2015, which later resulted in branding her Instagram to follow suit in 2016.

Within two years Taylor’s, social platform started to take off, working as an influencer, promoting a variety of brands, through social media and her blog, taylortalks.ca. From attending brand events and writing reviews to filming content at press events, she has become an expert observer and reporter on everything, from makeup tutorials and fashion lookbooks to product launches and celebrity collaborations.

Taylor has gathered and cultivated a community of over 20,000 beauty-loving subscribers and followers. Taylor is growing consistently and the support, loyalty, her audience knows that when they watch her content. Taylor always transparently delivers creative and helpful content whether that be from the fashion world or getting creative with makeup and colours!
