Garnier’s Micellar Water

I must say am  a little late with trying out Garniers Micellar Water, but if its anything compared to Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water, I knew it was a must have!

I’m a big fan of micellar waters, however that wasn’t my first initial thought when they first became all the talk in the beauty world. As I originally thought the it was just a over rated hype over spring water, I was totally wrong!  When I finally did tried Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water, years ago I was sold straight after! Now a huge cleansing water addict I can say amongst the many other micellar waters I’ve tried Garnier is one that comes out on top, it’s like a magnet for makeup, oil and dirt.

Garnier’s Micellar Water is awesome for removing make up. Pop a small amount onto a cotton pad and gently wipe all over your face. I usually use a foam cleanser, then use this a toner to make sure I’ve completely removed all my make up. It’s perfect for getting those little bits of make up that you missed while cleansing, leaving your face perfectly clean! The water removes makeup smoothly and leaves no oily residue after. You don’t need to rinse it off so it cleanses and removes makeup in one go!

 Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water, was the first to set off this Micellar Water hype, and set the benchmark for other competing brands who later came out with similar products, such as L’Oreal and Vichy. This being the cheapest I had to try it out!

We all know Micellar Water is known for the micelle oil molecules in a water-like formula which thrives on anything that isn’t water when applied to the skin. It latches onto dirt and oils that have been pushed into the skin and effectively removes them.

I’d like to say I am very impressed! Normally with any cleanser I use, I always find myself rubbing at my skin trying to make sure all the makeup and oil is off my face! With this, however, I feel my makeup comes off straight away with no hassles. It’s so lightweight also, as you would guess from the word ‘Water’!! Its all in one and is perfect for any lazy girl out there! I love it and its now a must have!
